OUR spa POLICIES

At The Head Spa Perth, we aim to provide a high-quality and stress-free experience for every client. To help us maintain a smooth schedule and offer the best service possible, please take a moment to read through our spa policies below.

  • We require a 50% deposit at the time of booking to confirm your appointment. If the deposit is not paid within 12 hours of your booking, your appointment may be cancelled without notice. Appointments that are made on the day will be strictly non-refundable under any circumstance.

    Deposits are refundable up to 48 hours before your appointment. Cancellations or changes made with less than 48 hours’ notice will result in the deposit being forfeited.

    Your deposit will be applied toward the total cost of your service on the day.

  • When you book an appointment, we reserve a specific time slot for the service you have selected.

    If you choose to change your appointment to a service or package that is less expensive or requires less time, you will still be charged for the originally booked service.

    This policy ensures our schedule remains fair and efficient for all clients and allows us to provide the best possible service without gaps in our bookings.

  • If you need to reschedule your appointment, we kindly ask for:

    • At least 24 hours' notice for appointments scheduled Monday to Friday

    • At least 48 hours' notice for appointments scheduled on Saturdays

    This gives us time to fill your appointment and avoid disruption.

    Appointments rescheduled outside of these time frames will be treated as cancellations and may incur full charges or result in the loss of your deposit.

  • If you wish to cancel your appointment, we require:

    • At least 24 hours’ notice for appointments scheduled Monday to Friday

    • At least 48 hours’ notice for appointments scheduled on Saturdays

    Cancellations made within the required timeframe will receive a deposit refund.
    Cancellations made with less notice will result in your deposit being forfeited, and full charges will apply.

    This policy also applies to gift card bookings, which will be voided if cancelled late.

  • A no show is when a client misses an appointment with us without notice.

    • Full charges will apply for all no-show appointments

    • Gift cards will be voided if used to book the missed service

    • Repeat no-shows may be required to prepay in full for future bookings or may no longer be accepted as a client

  • To protect the quality of your experience and prevent damage to your hair or extensions, The Head Spa Perth does not accept clients with hair extensions or braids for head spa treatments.

    We strongly recommend the following process for clients with extensions:

    1. Have your hair extensions professionally removed before your head spa appointment

    2. Attend your head spa treatment with natural hair

    3. Have your extensions reinstalled after your treatment at your preferred salon

    This ensures the treatment reaches your scalp and natural hair fully, without interference or potential damage to extension materials or bonds.

    If you still wish to proceed with a head spa treatment while wearing extensions, you may do so by signing a waiver form prior to your appointment.

    We encourage all clients with extensions to plan their head spa sessions around extension maintenance. Removing your extensions beforehand allows for a more effective, restorative treatment and helps protect your investment in your hair.

  • At The Head Spa Perth, your comfort and safety are our top priority. Our treatments involve lying on your back for an extended period, which may become uncomfortable or unsuitable as pregnancy progresses.

    We recommend waiting until after pregnancy to receive head spa treatments. However, we do accept clients who are up to 21 weeks pregnant.

    If you are more than 21 weeks pregnant, we may need to reschedule your appointment for a later date.

    • You must notify us prior to your appointment if you are pregnant, regardless of the stage

    • If you are unsure or have concerns, we encourage you to consult your doctor before booking
